Ward 5 Neighborhood Planning Assembly Meeting

Introductions and Ground Rules
We will start at 7pm SHARP. Please note that we will adhere closely to all time limits. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.

Open Forum
Open discussion on what "neighbors" are looking for from the NPA in the coming year. What are your concerns and what topics should the NPA discuss? Do you have an event to announce? Please limit yourself to 2 minutes per person.

Police Report
Kris Carlson is the Lieutenant in charge of the South End. He will be here to introduce himself and answer questions about crime in the South End.

Mayor's Report
Mayor Bob Kiss will give us an update on City issues specific to Ward 5.

Safe Routes to School
Leslyn Hall - Champlain Elementary School and the City of Burlington are applying for a Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Grant. Nicole Losch will provide DPW input.

Fair Housing Month
Dani Fuoco - The Fair Housing Project would like to share information on fair housing in Burlington 8:10 - AARP is pleased to announce a Community Action Sponsorship program as part of the Burlington Livable Community Project.

City Boards and Commissions
Learn how to apply to serve on a board or commission. Sara Osaba - the application deadline for open seats is May 12.
